Made the switch to Painter, as Vista doesn't agree with Adobe. This is one of the first-okay, this IS the first real piece that I've churned out with it. About an hour from sketch to final render. As you can see I'm still learning the little tricks and such-I've only had it for a day, after all.

But I like it. It FELT easier sketching this-even if the nose shading is off and such. The sketch work-the faint lines and etc.-is as close to actual pen-and-paper sketching I've gotten. Not bad for a mouse-still going to get a tablet first chance-and I think I can be convinced to switch over to Painter real easy now.

Wait, I've already made the switch :3. I'm not sure if I'm going to miss photoshop. Maybe, maybe not, but I sure am having fun with painter.
